We developed the show design and show direction for RVFV’s tour.
The show design is a metaphorical representation of Rafa’s journey. Forms, reflections and mirrors build a visual language around evolution, duality, presence and strength, while maintaining a minimal yet distinctive aesthetic throughout the show.
Reflective scenic elements form the core of the design, distributed asymmetrically across the stage in different scales. This composition defines the show’s visual identity and introduces a sense of rawness and spontaneity that connects with RVFV’s personality and references the shark concept associated with the artist.
The stage environment builds on these forms, using mirrors as a narrative device. Their reflections represent the duality between past and present, while creating a visual effect reminiscent of the way light behaves underwater. Performance elements are introduced at key moments throughout the show to reinforce the narrative and add another visual and emotional layer to the staging.
The lighting, visual content, lasers and special effects were all designed around the same narrative, working together to create a cohesive and immediately recognisable show identity.
